The door has opened slowly over the last few weeks but life still feels strangely slow motion, especially here in the City of London.

The door has opened slowly over the last few weeks but life still feels strangely slow motion, especially here in the City of London.
This was written in 2012 – more moving followed, which is when the photographs were taken. Hope there’s something in here that’s useful for someone.
The packers are in the building
House moves are stressful. We’ve done a few…twelve in two decades, which means a fairly constant state of pack and unpack.
Five of the moves have been with three children and a dog, and of those five family moves, two have been international.
