Think of a hospital and you’ll probably find your mind working in institutional off-white, with splashes of surgical blue or green. At least this has been my experience of hospitals in the UK.
The location is one of the finest and most peaceful in Surrey set at the top of a dense garden of flowers on the hillside opposite St Laurence’s Church in Seale.
Miller’s preferred medium is watercolour. Her paintings flow with life and light. In a short biography she writes: “Besides working primarily in watercolour I enjoy using various media to explore my interest in light and complex patterns of shape, colour and texture.”
